Two years ago, I was posting about the infamous Banana flavoure, chocolate coloured chocolate milk. And Two years ago tomorrow, will be the anniversary of the XO-Macushin video.

I remember when I posted on this almost every day. There's nothing left for me here.

2005:

Did I mention I bought new shoes? Remember the old ones? With duct tape? Yea, Im keeping them. Probably gonna redo the tape on the left.

I hung out with Vanessa today. She wanted to go for a run, but I ended doing more running that her running to/from the school. She lives like.. two blocks over and four blocks down. I want to hang out with her more often. Alot more often.. like.. everyday. Just cause I can. She lives the closest from anyone I know, pretty much, except maybe mark, but he's a party pooper. She's cool though.. did I say how I met her? I dont think I did.. well, itll come in time.

On saturday I spent all day downtown with Sam. She wanted to hit up value vintage right? To buy a coat. Cause.. she really needs one. We end up going in and out of the store quickly, when she noticed everything was too expensive for her. I think we ended checking random stores we couldve done back in coquitlam. We dragged me into american eagle outfitters (my brother's favorite store) and I really hated it. So much that I had to leave before I got angry. Ugh.. I dont think ive ever felt that way about a store before. Ugh.. well anyways, Sam ended up buying some jacket and we had a bunch of time to kill before 8. We went to waterfront just as it was getting dark. To be honest, its a relatively romantic spot, over looknig the water (although it is the industrial water area). Everything was shiny from the tiny bit of rain. We had cuddled a bit to keep warm, because I admit I was freezing out there. It got so windy. I was randomly talking about Dave or something, and then she kissed me. I was... shocked I guess. But I was more surprised as to my reaction.. I was uninterested... We ended up heading back and whatnot, and I got off my stop near the bowling alley. I gave Sam a little kiss to show her i wasnt totally freaked out by her actions before. I was walking out towards the Bowling alley to where I was going to bowl with Dave, Adam, Steph, Joe, Gilby and others.

As I passed by the pizza place just across from the alley, I heard someone call my name, and I saw Dave and Mark in the pizza place. We were still 20 minutes early, so I urged them to follow me to Starbucks (The Devil's coffee shop -Moses) and got myself a Peppermint Mocha ( ;) ). Adam, Joe and Alex must have seen us walking over and came by aswell. We all stood around the bowling alley for a good 20 minutes, until this girl, that i had seen walk up to the alley 15 minutes prior and noted how good looking she was, asked Adam if infact he was Adam. They had supposedly not been able to reconise each other in the dimly lit street. We got our shit together and started bowling. I was happy to see that by fluke, i was put on the pretty girl's lane. We instantly clicked. I dont think ive gotten so comfortable around someone so fast before. But we were having a great time. I didnt loose the first game, and I just narrowly didnt loose the second, after some coaching from the loser... the girl. And by now if you havent figured it out, that girl was Vanessa. After bowling, and her lying that she could wallflip (I ofcourse had to do a victory flip after the alst game) I confronted her about it, and specifically stated the wallflippers in her school, after which she promptly admited to lying.

We all just hung out for about a half hour afterwards. We all went out seperate ways after hitting up the 7/11, and I was hoping that it wouldnt be the last time Id see her. 1-2 days later, I had planned to ask Adam for his friend's email. Before I could even get the chance, she had added me. Vanessa had gotten my email from some unknown source. We figured out pretty fast that we live pretty close.

Well yea... I was scared to ask her if she was seeing someone, and only today had I gotten an answer to that. No we are not going out. For now she's my girl next door. And Im very happy just for that =)"

"I cant wait til Nathan comes back and I get to train with him, yo!
Nathan's such an awesome guy and I really do look up to him. He's a pretty good rolemodel. He's travellnig the world right now, and last time I talked to him he was in kathmandu after getting rescued off everest when he got altittude sickness and they had to call an emergency chopper in, so yea.. he almost died. Now he's all enlightened and stuff, and it's just a blast talking to him. I beleive he's gonna go to Egypt then live in Scotland, and he said he should be back by Febuary. This guy is nuts.

I am currently working on a project that I expect will take me all night to half ass. Keep me company."

Wow..

The internet is the most powerful tool in today's society. It is the climax of hundreds of years in the evolution of technology. So many aspects of knowledge have been funnelled into the new industrial revolution; the computer revolution. The most impressive child of this revolution is the internet. A medium of unseen capabilities and mind boggling possibilities. No aspect of life will ever be the same since the dawn of the internet. It is a universal tool that becomes more and more useful and influential every day of it's existence, evolving at an alarming rate spreading to every corner of the globe. This has forever changed the face of business, education, communication and especially the way people interact. The internet has begun tow rite a new chapter in the history of society in font sized 12 Times New Roman ready to be downloaded by the world.

From a purely practical stand point the internet has brought all aspects of our professional lives to a higher level of efficiency and has created opportunities that were previously only dreams. The way we conduct business, and the way we receive our information has been dramatically changed. Online business has changed the cooperate world dramatically and has turned it upside down shifting the power to anyone with an internet connection. It is an open market where buyer and seller are directly connected, and where a single person in their bedroom with an idea can be a threat to big business. Even as we see today, when large corporations are trying to secure a safe place on the net as they attempt to take ownership of what they can, small business can prevail and triumph over multi-million dollar companies. As Brad Shapcott said, "The Internet isn't free. It just has an economy that makes no sense to capitalism.". The internet is changing all the rules and displacing the natural order, taking the power from a concrete jungle to a silicon valley. In an extreme short period of time, the internet has gone from a dream and technical wonder to a business must.

Furthermore in our professional lives, the way we gather our information has also changed immensely. A simple cable in your wall connects you to practically every bit of information known to man. Ever since one computer was connected to another the sharing of information has been rebuilt and redefined. Millions upon millions of people connected by a world wide web sharing their knowledge and wisdom with people across the planet. It's simply beautiful, "National borders aren't even speed bumps on the information superhighway" (Tim May). The net is now universally accessible world wide archive of everything. Any possible piece of knowledge one could ask for is literally at their finger tips and can be accessed by any part of the world. The possibilities are endless in every way, the internet becoming a sort of universe onto itself always expanding filling itself byte by byte of knowledge and data twenty-four hours a day, in twenty-four time zones, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty four days a year, three hundred and sixty five on leap years. The internet is a sponge acquiring knowledge knowing no end to the vast amounts of information it consumes, and administers at any moment's notice.

There are millions of people in different locations online at this very moment feeding their brains with information, but the internet not only gives them access to that information, but also gives them the opportunity to interact with one another in ways never thought possible. Now for the first time since Pangea, the entire planet is connected and together they live on one common plane of existence online. "Technology is one part of the complex of relationships that people form with each other and the world around them; it simply cannot be understood outside of that concept" (Samuel Collins). We are at a point in time where it is possible for someone from Norway can discuss recipes with someone from Japan while someone from Argentina can play checkers with someone from India while a surgeon can perform open heart surgery on a patient thousands of miles away, all from behind a computer with an internet connection. People are networking all over the world, and this is occurring at such a large scale that many people still living outside of the internet can not fathom the idea that millions of end users are connected and are interacting in a global community. A community that values freedom of speech. Never before has a medium had the power and influence that the internet does. Not only that, but anyone is able to freely speak their mind and have their opinion reach all across the Earth as simple as pressing 'Enter' or clicking 'Send'. The entire planet is connected and everyone has something to share.

The internet has become more than just a network of connected computers, or a series of tubes. It has become a living entity forever growing and expanding. It has become a country outside of countries, and a universe within a universe. A world wide free market place, and a global soap box. A piece of art in motion, and a snowball gaining mass. "Describing the Internet as the Network of Networks is like calling the Space Shuttle a thing that flies." (John Lester). The internet has grown into the most powerful tool in today's world, and it will only keep growing, and that is the beauty of the world wide web.

So last night was fun..

Thursday and Friday was.. NO CLASSES DAY! x2 because we had japanese cultural exchange day things. So me being the A/V boss that I am took it as a personal responsibility to miss all my classes working on it and supervising. It was great fun. Motion City Soundtrack and Senses fail in the gym is fun. But yea.. Umm.. yea!!

Friday night though.. Aaron came over as I got ready. My brother booted for me... for FREE! yatta!

I was dressed as an iPod commercial dancer. Smart, of course. We got to the party pretty early.. so we decided to go out and fire some works, and... *whisper* blaze. But once we had gotten back the party was jsut starting up, I suppose. So people started to drink.. I kinda dove head first into it. More people came, more cigars, alchohol and drugs. I was like a kid in a candystore.. full of drugs and alchohol, and kinda got a bit messed. I do recall stumblnig around, then sitting down with matt, who was luckily worse than I was at the time, it was funny drunkness at that point, where he'd be talking about how he's fine, and to not let him drink anymore, as he fell off the chair. That was the last point I remember drinking, i had a cooler in my hand, then i drank some of whatever darryl was having. I started to go south around then, and was walking around. I went into the garage to have a smoke, and that's when I started getting sick. Chelsea was in the driveway waiting for her ride by now and she noticed me (I love her so much <3) She took me and made me get some fresh air, then told me to go around back cause she didnt want her parents to see me, at that point I threw up behind a flower pot. Wow, that alone made me want to not drink for a long. I forgot how horrible throwing up is, and how embarassing it is.. especially with someone whom I love is watching me holding back my sweatshirt hood strings and ipod wires back while I vomit. I felt so worthless.. so Gibly walks back there when i finish up, and chelsea hands me off to him (becase at this point he was not really drunk) and I think I headed back out front to get more air, then i go back inside and take my sweatshirt off and chill on the couch. Wayne looked TOO bad. he was passed out and not having a good time with all that alchohol in him. I started calling for people by the stiars to come help him, and about 5 seconds later he throws up in his unconcious state all over himself, which at that point i start yelling louder. They got him to the hospital.

I Mosey around the house a few times, stopping to sit down and chill. Jean walks in, with his great costume (Ray mysterio jr!!) so does a few others like Nic (robin hood =D). Im not too sure what goes on for a while.. I end up in the garage again. they clsoe the garage door, and just then i feel sick again.. i cry out to someone to open the door, they dont, so i did again, they almost did, then people on the outside scream to shut it, so they do. I throw up in the garbage at least.. i felt so much better at this point though.

Oh wait.. Chelsea and Gilby brought me up to the TV room after the first time I threw up, chelsea gave me water.. i chilled there for a while and then Matt was in there.. stumblnig around.. then threw up on himself, then collapsed at the door and threw up. Lindsay cried.

I chill outside for most of the rest of the night. In a semi-concious state. Talk to a few people. At some point I beleive I went back to the garage to puke into the garbage. Some guy I didnt know was talking to me, telling me how i shouldnt puke or else he will, at that point I did, but the garbage can lid didnt come off, so i have to pry it open. I felt more better after that, and just chileld until my brother came and picked me up.

Oh yea.. someone slipped something into sarah's drink. I was there when she started to react to it. And then a few hours later (right before my 3rd vomit) I saw her downstairs with Jean taking care of her. She needed to go to the hospital but no one was listening. It was noble of Jean to take care of her though, I dont think anyone expected that. Oh yea, Brittany is a really happy drunk.

Oh yea, supposedly I was tripping out on darryl.

So I thank all those taht took care of me, and of others. I was stupid in not pacing myself. <3
